My name is Gabriel Silveira and I’m a London based Brazilian illustrator and designer.

I've been an illustrator for 15 years now, working with a diverse range of clients, from the smallest indie magazines to global tech companies. I went to college for Graphic Design because of my love for Illustration and drawing, and ever since I've been interested in how these two things connect. I'm open to all kind of projects, but I love when I have the chance of exploring how my work interacts with other elements, like a client’s magazine design, or brand system.

My influences are comics, movies, animation, music, architecture... what I try to do is to grab everything, put it in a blender and see what comes out. And yes, you might have noticed I'm a big sci-fi nerd. I love how sci-fi enables us to extrapolate our current issues and project them into the future.

Experimentation is a big part of my process, and I truly believe it's not possible to create great things without playing around and allowing yourself to make mistakes first. Besides the constant development of my drawing skills, I'm also interested in exploring how the things I create look in other medias, like animation and 3D.

On my free time I'm usually racing to the school pickup/drop off, playing with Legos, filling the dishwasher and reading picture books out loud. I also love music and have lots of fun playing the drums terribly.
